Who We Are
Our strength as a Team
Our program team is comprised of multi-disciplinary professionals who want the best for our students, families, and community. Our staff members are highly trained and skilled in their respective areas of expertise and continue to educate themselves about recent trends and current research.
Patti Wagman, Program Coordinator
I joined the CCT Team in August, 2012 and am thrilled to coordinate such a wonderful Team! I was born in Regina, SK but have lived in Medicine Hat since 1993. I love most types of music but you'll probably find 70's or 80's rock/pop on my playlist! I decided this year to learn how to play ukulele because it's an instrument that just makes me smile. I enjoy unwinding with a good book, a great movie, or cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders. I also cherish the time spent with my family.

Lana Walton, Wellness Facilitator (St. Mary's, Mother Teresa)
My name is Lana Walton and I have been a Wellness Facilitator with CCT since 2015. I was born in Coaldale, AB and have lived in Medicine Hat since 1999. I enjoy fishing, hiking and camping to relax and take care of my mental health. When I'm not at work, you will probably find me doing activities with my family and/or my many pets. You'd probably find hard rock on my current playlist. The thing I enjoy most about my jobs is building relationships with the students!
Danielle Schaitel, Wellness Facilitator (St. Michael's & St. Francis)
My name is Danielle and I am so happy to be returning to CCT this year. I have been a Wellness Facilitator with CCT since 2017. I am super organized but my motto ("The only constant is change") helps me go with the flow. I also like to have fun dancing to 90's/2000's pop punk. I unwind by playing with my children or enjoying movie nights with my husband. I love to cook, drink coffee and read. I have a passion for children's mental health and love watching children try new things to help them grow.
Ashley Fisher, Wellness Facilitator (Notre Dame Academy, St. Patrick's School)
Hello! My name is Ashley Fisher and I am back this year after being away on a maternity leave for the past year. I am excited to be returning to Notre Dame Academy and St. Patrick’s school where I love being in the classroom promoting positive mental health while getting to know all the great students and staff. When I am not at work, you can find me spending time with my little guy and amazing husband while finding time to fit in the occasional yoga class.
